God Knows
I trust you had a great weekend and a wonderful worship experience this past Sunday. This morning as I was praying I had this thought that I want to pass on to you as our word for this week. It is actually a brief phrase; God knows. You know that God is omniscient that is he knows all things. However, it is important to remind ourselves of this very important truth about the nature of God.
After Jesus’ ascension the Apostles began praying asking the Lord to give them direction for a replacement for Judas. They prayed, “You, O God, know every one of us inside and out” (Acts 1:24 The Message). God knows our thoughts, our motives, and our intentions. God also knows how to help us. Paul wrote, “God knows what to do” (2 Corinthians 4:9 The Message). Life often brings situations requiring answers beyond our understanding. It is comforting to know that God is never taken by surprise, that God is always “in the loop” and knows exactly what to do to help. These answers are often found in God’s Word.
This week remind yourself that God knows. God knows where you are and what you are facing. God knows you inside and out and God knows what to do. Rest in the knowledge that God knows!
