Our Inablities and God’s Ability
Wow! What a whirlwind! Yesterday New Life Church celebrated our first year anniversary with Brother Jim Hukill. After the evening service I drove to Dallas and was up early on the train and now am in downtown Dallas attending my last residency requirement. Praise the Lord!!!! But enough about me.
Yesterday was a wonderful day at New Life Church. Our great friends, Jim and Ronette Hukill, came to the church and ministered in song and in the Word of God. It was a great day to be sure. Anyone who listens to Jim sing and speaks must be inspired to reach beyond the possible to trust God for the impossible. Jim inspires us to not allow any limitation to keep us from being used by the Lord to accomplish the purpose of God.
It is easy to look at what we do not have or what we cannot do and give up. But, Jim’s life is a testimony of what God can do through those who make themselves available. God is not looking for perfect people, he is looking for available people. People who recognize that God is greater than our weakness and that there is no limitations in Him.
So open your heart to the Lord today. Give your life completely to him. Give him your weaknesses, you limitations, your disabilities, as well as your strengths and abilities and see what the Lord can do today.
