Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Have you ever stopped to think about the words of Christmas? Words such as “joy” and “peace” and “hope” and “love” are all words that describe Christmas.
Joy, because through Jesus we have the opportunity to experience a life free from the bondage and guilt of sin. Peace, because through Jesus there is no longer any condemnation due us for our sin, thus we have peace with God. Hope, because through Jesus we have a future in which we will share in the glory of God. Love, because through Jesus nothing can separate us from God’s love.
Enjoy your Christmas. Make it a joyous time as you reflect upon God’s indescribable gift to you, His Son, Jesus Christ.
